What personal data we collect and why we collect it

  1. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track visitors to our site which uses cookies to collect this data.  In order to be compliant with the new GDPR regulation Google has included a data processing amendment.  The data we collect will be processed anonymously and “Data sharing” is disabled.  We don’t use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies.

  1. Forms

When you sign up for a download, submit a comment or ask a support question, we collect your name and email address so that we can correspond with you.  Your personal data will not only be stored in the website’s database but also in MailChimp, the application we use to send any newsletters or campaigns.  When submitting a form, your IP address and browser user agent are also gathered to help spam detection using reCAPTCHA.

We use Mail Chimp for newsletters and campaigns.  Mail Chimp is a marketing automation platform and is GDPR compliant. They have a campaign builder that makes it easy to create email templates. In Mail Chimp, we only store your name and email address. We may send you emails about HOS updates and any new products.  You may unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by responding directly from the form or contacting us at
